Juniper doors add rustic charm
Juniper has become an invasive species in western states, where farmers and ranchers would bulldoze it up and burn it. Instead, it's now finding a practical use in products like Jeld-Wen's line of Juniper Doors. The wood features rich naturally swirled patterns punctuated by splits and knots. A typical door will feature color variations between light gold to cinnamon brown with a soft reddish undertone. From a design perspective, Juniper Doors should blend easily with Lodge decor, Mediterranean, or Old World architecture. The line comes prefinished and available as door-only or prehung.
